5 Years | How to Be British

Postcard sent by Laura (the UK).

How to Be British is a very famous collection of postcards by Martyn Ford and Peter Legon. I have received more postcards like this one, and they always make me laugh (maybe you laugh less if you are British yourself... Or more!).

I published some of them in this post. It has been the most visited post during the five years of life of this blog. I wonder why.

  1. I'm enjoying your anniversary posts - they are taking me to parts of your blog I've never visited before.

    1. So I'm glad! I wanted to do something special for the 5th anniversary, and I thought 5 posts could do. I couldn't figure out anything else. Some ideas for the 6th? ;-)

  2. Ooh, I love this serie! I've seen several cards in postcrossing walls, but still did receive only one myself. This is a fun one, too!
One should make such a serie about the Dutch, too, but I think British humour is more understandable (or maybe, as you say, humoristic cards about a people might be harder to be understood by the specific people themselves than by people from other countries?)
